Construction will start in June!

This good piece of news comes from the team in charge of the building project for new St. Olav Cathedral in Trondheim. All the necessary permissions from the local council have now been issued and negotiations have started with the contractors HENT, who will be responsible for the actual building of the church.

The steering team consists of chancellor Unn Lindgard Madsø, economist Per Albert Vold and pater Egil Mogstad.

When the contract with the builders is signed, the local council will use about three weeks to issue the commencement permission. During these weeks the building site can be made ready for the construction work. In other words, it will not be long now before there will be activity on the building site.
