Home Office and other Corona measures in St. Olav Cathedral parish from 15 December 2021.

Due to the new corona measures and the government's order for homeoffice, the parish administration is closed to visitors without an appointment. We have regular office hours and can be reached as usual by email and telephone. Necessary visits can of course always be arranged.

The number of Mass participants is limited to 50 per Mass. All of these must be on sk. "fixed designated places", at least one meter apart, and everyone must have a ticket. Seats can as usual be reserved via the church's billettsystem billett.katolsk.no

Upon arrival for Mass, attendance is ticked off on a list of participants, and you get a place number (based on place on the list) where you must sit during the entire Mass. This is because we must register which seat each individual has used for (possible) infection tracking considerations. The seats are clearly marked in the church benches.

Face masks are mandatory and must be worn throughout the Mass, as well as when entering and leaving the church.

Face masks are mandatory when it is not possible to keep at least one meter away from anyone other than household members. This means that you can sit in the church without a face mask, if it is at least one meter to the next person, but on your way in and out of the church and in the communion queue, you have to use a face mask.
