The actual new year's day in the chinese calendar - the beginning of the Year of the Ape - is on February 8. They started with a mass presided by Fr. Simon Linh concelebrated with Fr. Dominic Thanh Nguyen .Seventy people attended the mass. Social gathering followed with Vietnamese food. Children and youth were singing their local songs.
