The programme for The Catholic Church's Olsok celebration (St. Olav’s Feast) in Trondheim and at Stiklestad 2017 is ready.

A very special event this year will be the consecration of the St. Olav altar and the crowning of the Olav statue in the new St. Olav Cathedral. This will take place after laudes 9:00 on 29 July. Later this day there will be the annual Olsok lecture, this year by Eirik A. Steenhoff, followed by Pontifical mass in the Nidaros Cathedral.[more]


New prioress at The Brigittine Monastery

Sister M. Carmelita Lasrado took over as prioress on 20 March at The Brigittine Monastery at Tiller. She succeeds sister M. Patrizia Telese who was prioress from 2009. [more]

The stations of the Cross are a 14-step Catholic devotion that commemorates Jesus Christ's last day on earth as a man. The 14 devotions, or stations, focus on specific events of His last dag, beginning with his condemnation. Doors will open soon!

Many are waiting eagerly for St. Eystein bookstore to open, and many long to be able to pray in St. Olav Cathedral outside of mass times. Both wishes will soon come true!
